Tarot is an amazing method of divination that has interested me for a very long time. I feel Tarot is a wonderful aid to my continuous efforts to develop my mediumship skills and the perfect way of focussing my mind on a particular problem.

I started out using a deck from a bookshop that came in a tin along with a book explaining the meanings of the various cards. I felt this lacked feeling and began to develop my own method of reading the cards which relies more on inner vision and intuition than straight-forward reading. I quickly found that the "book" meanings of the cards, while important in their own way, were stifling and restrictive. At this point I actually learned to READ the Tarot and to understand the person or problem I was looking at.

My readings are Psychic Tarot readings, as I often "see" things that are in fact only loosely related to the cards themselves. Sometimes I get a picture of the person I am reading for, other times names pop into my head. Jane, for example, I saw as a woman with a mission and I could actually see her busy, "get out of my way" walk in my head. I could also see how she was dressed, down to shoes and glasses. Jane confirmed pretty much all of what I'd said about her, and I am very happy to say that she has agreed to allow me to use her reading as an example of my work, to let you see what I do (in the SPREADS section)

I now work with the Tarot Macconique, a truly beautiful deck by Jean Bouchard. There are a number of reasons why I would be interested in this deck, the colours are incredible and each card is like a work of art in itself. There's a lot of hidden significance in the symbology used and I am still learning new things about each card today.

So what can the Tarot tell you ? Well, it's a good way of finding out what may be ahead for you, the future. It can also be quite specific about relationships or work. Many people ask me to do a reading for them to find out if they are going to meet the right person, or even if their husband or wife is all they're cracked up to be. Some people want to know about work or money. The cards can't tell you the numbers for the next lottery but I am absolutely certain that they can point you in the right direction in life.

When I do a reading, it is quite a long process for me. Roughly speaking, it takes me about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on how complex the situation is that I am enquiring about. The report I produce runs to about 5 pages (see example reading) and contains a lot of information. One thing I can assure you is that for the time of the reading, you get my wholly undivided attention. You will receive a totally personal reading, performed just for you by a dedicated reader - me.

I try to be specific in my readings, avoiding issues that could apply to just anyone. Sometimes I can get very specific and perhaps feel a little exposed when I do that. After all, anyone can guess a name and one way or another you'll probably be able to link it to yourself. If, however, I tell you that you have dark hair, shoulder length, glasses, smart business suit and so on, it's either right or wrong.
